Off Campus Database Access Changes

The library’s off campus database access has changed! We apologize that we were not able to publicize this in advance: system issues required an earlier changeover than we anticipated. The Remote Patron Authentication system has been permanently replaced by a smarter system called EZProxy. Instead of using their PID numbers, users are prompted for their campus network userid and password. EZProxy will know if someone’s on campus or not, and if on, won’t require a login. This system allows for cross database linking to get the full text of articles through the LinkSource LinkSource icon Check LinkSource for Full Text links found in nearly all article records in the databases, which the other system did not support.
As of May 7th, off campus database (INCLUDING THE DORMS) access is all routed through the EZProxy page at http://library.colostate-pueblo.edu/ezdatabases.asp There’s a direct link to this page right under the catalog search box on the library main page. Also, the Off Campus Access icon on the left menu now points to this page. If you are a Continuing Education student or enrolled at the Citadel campus, please contact a librarian for login information.
