Philosopher’s Index Now On Trial

The Library has set up a trial to Philosopher’s Index through EBSCOHost¬†through December 18th. The Philosopher’s Index, produced by the Philosopher’s Information Center, is a current and comprehensive bibliographic database covering scholarly research in all major fields of philosophy. The Philosopher’s Index, considered the most thorough index of journal literature on the subject, features author-written abstracts covering scholarly research published in journals and books, including contributions to anthologies and book reviews. The Philosopher’s Index covers the fifteen fields of philosophy and contains research published since 1940, with additional records dating back to 1902. This database contains more than 495,000 records from more than 80 countries with content representing a variety of languages. Need a Group Study Room?

Do you need to get together with a study group? The Library has study rooms on every floor – different sizes and configurations! The rooms from the 3rd through the 6th floors do not need to be reserved. If you need a room with a large flat panel monitor or other special equipment, they are available on the 1st and 2nd floors. Reserve these special technology study rooms in advance
