Color Printing Now Available at the Library
Library patrons now have the option of printing in color in the Library computer lab in the OUC. When selecting a printer, choose OUC032-Color. Your account will be charged .20/per page, instead of the normal .10/per page. The printer is located directly behind the librarian at the Information Desk. If you need assistance or have further questions, please ask.
Library Merges Catalog with CSU Fort Collins
Over the summer 2010, library faculty and staff at both Pueblo and Fort Collins have been busy planning and implementing the merging of our catalogs. Now, when visitors to the library’s website click on Library Catalog, they will be searching a new catalog interface, which provides a different look and feel as well as increased functionality. As in the past, library patrons will be able to search for books, journals, DVDs, government documents and more using the catalog.
Initially, searches entered at CSU-Pueblo campus will default to CSU-Pueblo
resources. However, patrons will be able to use a simple dropdown menu to expand the search to include both CSU-Pueblo and CSU–Fort Collins resources in one search.
The regular checkout period for books from either Library’s collection will be 4 weeks. CSU-Pueblo faculty, staff and graduate students will also be extended CSU Fort Collins faculty borrowing privileges which includes a 6 month borrowing period for books.
Patrons will still use the new catalog to locate and request items in the Library’s stored collection. Library staff will continue to pull items several times per day for pickup in the OUC Un-derground Library Circulation Desk.
One change is that patrons will be required to create a pin of their choosing to control their requests and renewals.
